Pilot-project for stabilizing sand dunes. The objective is to prevent the desert’s expansion and minimize future sand migration in the region, especially towards the city.

The stabilization of the sand dunes is achieved by an integrated planting method, with vegetation preventing sand movement, thus allowing the development of the city and the improvement of the region’s inhabitant’s quality of life.
